Playing at Iridium Jazz Club in NYC on June 3rd and 4th will be special. It's been a few months since I played with the trio in the city. It will also be my first time having my trio at Iridium. Whenever I see music there, I enjoy the intimate atmosphere that's always present. My last experience there was playing with Pat Martino, which was fantastic. I'm also looking forward to having a special guest with me this time: Marcus Strickland. He is a wildly talented young saxophonist who is making great music in many situations that I have witness live or on record.Read more
